Yippie!!! I Have A Date

Happy Valentine Y'all!!!

I hope everyone will have a swell day ... date or no date! Don't be jealous, i have myself a date.... oh boy am i looking forward to this or what!!

Lets see... what will i be wearing.... hmmn, i have to look very conservative o... i don't want my date having a wrong impression at all...infact i have to make sure dat at the end of the afternoon (we decided to do lunch ...1pm sharp) ... i woulda knocked him off his feet!!!

Guess where we're going for our lunch date?.... Nope, u guessed wrong. ok ok, i'll tell u... we're gonna be having our date at the DISTRICT COURT!!! Oh and guess who my date is... yup, u got it right this time... a COURT JUDGE!!!

Naa... its not what y'all are thinking... i'm no an ex-con, a juve, or whatever it is pple go to court 4. I just have a freaking speeding ticket that i have decided to contest ... i honestly don't need another ticket on my driving record (I shoulda known better right? Wrong!!!).

See... my insurance is at an all time low... and i am tryna keep it dat way.. I know, i know, i have a lead foot... or better yet... i have to blame it on my car... its goes waaay too fast 4 me lol... yea rite!!!

Ok so.. i am minding my business cruising jejeli home on my way from work... i am like 5 mins away from home .... next thing i know....i see bright lights flashing.... DAMN!!! not again... So i pull over and this is how it goes down

Cop: Ma'm do u know y i pulled u over

Flygurle: (In my mind i'm like du'h y else would u pull me over) . Oh No, i have no clue

Cop: Well, i pulled u over cos u were doing 85 in a 65 mile zone

Flygurle: errrh, (ok dats it i am gonna get me a bicycle) well i wasn't going dat fast at all. Can i see d radar pls (like it was gonna make a difference, i knew i was going dat fast)

Cop: (Goes and gets the radar and sticks it in ma face) See, there it is, it clocked u at 85

Flygurle: (Shio!) Ok can you at least gimme a warning

Cop: Well i will have to give you a ticket.... you can go to court and speak to a judge and if u are lucky, he can let you go this one time!

So....2morrow, while others are whispering sweet nothings into their dates ears... i will have to convince a judge that i should not have to pay $160 and not have 3 points on my driving record!!!

While others are promising their dates heaven and earth, i will have to promise the judge that i will be selling my car and buying a bicycle as soon as i leave his court LOL!!!. I will have to promise him that i will neva eva, speed again as long as i live!!! YA!!!

While others are getting flowers, chocolates and other goodies, i am hoping i would get a slap on my wrist and go free (yes me faith is at an all time high, and i am calling things that are not as though they are). Yes Calabar Girl.. I will be having a lovely Valentine Lol!!

On a lighter mood, its really snowing over here o!!! I worked from home yesterday and i will be working from home 2day as well. .. it feels sooo damn good, not to have to get up at 7am and drive an hr to get to work!!!

Though i am working from home 2day cos the insurance company has to come take a look at my house (story 4 another blog)

I am tryna get used this this blogging thingy... so much to learn...

To Blog Or Not To Blog

So... i've been contemplating this blog thingy 4 a while now. There are sooo many thots in ma head and i just need to get them out. Initially i was scared that i was gonna be a bore, reveal my deepest emotions, get on people's nerves or that i may eventually run out of things to say but then... after i spoke with London Buki(she inspired me)... i realized that i neeeded to do this... I have to get these thots out... i can't bottle them up anymore..

How this will trurn out i have no idea but i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I've made it through enuff roller-coasters, ups and downs, some pretty amazing twists and turns, enuff drama to fill a soap opera and a crash course on LIFE!

What i have learnt so far is more than i could possibly have imagined and i have learnt that i am still learning

So blogsville, here i come...
